Here’s some of the WBC news from the past few days.
- First off, Nolan Arenado is in for Team USA in the 2023 WBC.
- Marcus Stroman, who pitched for Team USA in 2017, will be suiting up for Puerto Rico this time in honor of his mother.
- Ozzie Guillen will be the bench coach for Team France (managed by Bruce Bochy) during qualifiers.
- Additions to the Team Israel roster of late: Kevin Pillar, Dean Kremer (who actually is Israeli!), Richard Bleier, and Harrison Bader.
