One week until the 1st Anniversary Spectacular!

Why haven’t there been as many big, long articles on the Continuum of late? Well, as I’ve said earlier, it has to do with the fact that coming up is the Baseball Continuum 1st Anniversary Spectacular! It’ll have new installments of the some of the most popular and notable features of the Continuum, such as Bizarre Baseball Culture and a more in-depth version of Famous For Something Else, follow-ups on some of my favorite articles and observations, and also featuring some appearances by others from around the baseball internet who are nice enough to answer my e-mails with something other than a polite decline and/or complete silence. Yes, on May 8, you’ll see the largest number of posts on this blog in memory. And it’ll be for you, the people who have provided the Continuum tens of thousands of views over the last year.

So, uhm, yeah. May 8. 1st Anniversary Spectacular. Be there.

Blog Dealings for April 12 (and notes on the oncoming 1st Anniversary)

Okay, some brief blog dealings for today:

  • In order to have a better product and not just a list of scores, the “Continuum Global News” feature will from now on become a once-weekly feature, released on the weekends.
  • However, on the other hand, the “Picture of the Day” will return, starting tomorrow.
  • A reminder that you can donate to the Continuum tip jar by hitting the “donate” button on the front page (it’s to the right).
  • Also, if you have a high-quality baseball blog or website (I’ll be the judge of what “high-quality” means) and would like to have it linked to from the Continuum, let me know by sending me an e-mail– all I’ll ask for in return is a link to the Continuum from your site. Of course, I’ll also still add in some sites that I just plain like.
  • Also, don’t forget that the Continuum is on Facebook.
  • Finally, May 8 is the Baseball Continuum‘s 1st Anniversary. I’m planning some special things, perhaps maybe even featuring some special guests (note: If you are a semi-distinguished internet baseball personality and would like to be a “special guest”, send me an e-mail). So keep an eye out for it.
