MVP of Yesterday (July 2, 2013): Who do you think? (Homer Bailey)

Williams Perez of the Rome Braves had the night of a lifetime last night, holding off the great Alex Rodriguez, getting him to ground into a double play and then later striking him out!

Just kidding, it’s Homer Bailey, who threw his second no-hitter and the first since… he did it last year on September 28. I mean, if you throw a no-hitter, you basically HAVE to be the MVP of Yesterday.
